Refund creation, refund authorization, refund status and refund webhook contracts are not implemented in the current runtime.
Availability
There is no refund endpoint or payment.refunded event in the current documented event set. A cancelled Payment Intent is not a refund and does not reverse a blockchain transfer.
Authority boundary
Do not describe a merchant, cashier, terminal, webhook receiver or browser as having issued a blockchain refund. The current implementation has no refund authority. Handle underpaid, overpaid, late, expired and cancelled classifications using the Payment Intent state and support process until a separately approved refund contract exists.
Support-safe evidence
For an investigation, retain the public Payment Intent identifier, environment, request_id, event identifier and transaction hash when the server has supplied one. Never request or share wallet signing secrets.
